The Modular Magic of HomeHarvest
HomeHarvest wasn’t designed like a typical planter.
It was engineered as a living system — modular, evolving, and built for creators who see growth as both art and survival.
When I started building it, I wanted something that could grow with me.
A system that could start as one small pod on a kitchen counter and expand into a full, vertical garden that feeds a home.
⚙️ The Modular Core
Every HomeHarvest module connects seamlessly to the next using a simple plug-and-grow system.
The units stack vertically, link side-by-side, and can even form complete hydro walls.
Each piece is built from lightweight, watertight composites, making it both durable and reconfigurable. Every slot, every joint, and every channel has a reason.
This isn’t decor — it’s living architecture.
💧 Hydroponic Circulation System
HomeHarvest uses a recirculating hydroponic network, channeling oxygen-rich water through hidden tubing that feeds each root zone directly.
The benefits:
-
30% faster growth than soil
-
90% less water use
-
Cleaner, no dirt or insects
-
Fully self-contained maintenance
Just refill the reservoir when prompted, and the system keeps the cycle going — quietly, efficiently, endlessly.
🟤 The LECA Root Base
Instead of soil, HomeHarvest uses LECA clay balls — small, porous spheres made from expanded natural clay.
They do more than just hold the plant:
-
Allow air to reach the roots
-
Prevent overwatering
-
Maintain steady moisture and nutrient levels
-
Keep your setup clean, reusable, and organic-feeling
It’s the perfect balance of nature and tech — a physical texture that roots can breathe in.
🌞 LED Grow Lighting
Each module is equipped with full-spectrum LED lighting, built directly into the frame.
No bulky lamps or dangling cords — just a clean, architectural light system that simulates natural day cycles and keeps plants thriving, even in dim apartments or winter months.
These lights will eventually sync with the HomeHarvest app, adjusting brightness and warmth to each plant type automatically.
🌱 Adaptive Plant Supports
HomeHarvest includes adjustable support rods and clips to guide vertical growth and prevent overcrowding.
Whether you’re growing butter lettuce, basil, strawberries, or cherry tomatoes, the system adapts — providing just enough structure without stifling your plant’s form.
🥬 What You Can Grow
We’ve tested HomeHarvest with an entire range of plants — all thriving in LECA and hydroponics:
-
Salad greens: Romaine, arugula, kale, butter lettuce
-
Herbs: Basil, mint, thyme, parsley, cilantro
-
Fruiting plants: Strawberries, cherry tomatoes, peppers
-
Root crops (larger modules): Radish, scallions, small beets
-
Flowers & succulents: Nasturtiums, marigolds, jade, echeveria
Each module type — small, medium, large, or tray — optimizes water flow and aeration for its plant family.
🔮 Future Add-ons
HomeHarvest was built with evolution in mind.
Upcoming modular attachments include:
-
🪲 PeskyPests™ — collectible MiniWorlders that magnetically attach to your garden, bringing story and personality from Big World Labs.

🍄 Climate Pods — a future expansion for mushrooms and microgreens.
🧩 Why Modularity Matters
To me, modularity means freedom.
Freedom to grow what you want, where you want, and how you want.
HomeHarvest isn’t a single product — it’s a living platform that adapts to your needs, space, and imagination.
Each module tells a story — a small act of survival turned into design.
Next up: Meet the MiniWorlders — the PeskyPests that inhabit your garden and bring the HomeHarvest world to life.
